Deep and sumptuous with a distinct rolled edge, The Saracen is based on an early 19th-century bath originally manufactured in Lyon, France. Perfect for those who prefer a more 'upright' position, when indulging in a deep and relaxing soak.

Made from 100% cast iron, The Saracen is cast to order from our foundry in Kent. The cast is taken from an original Saracen bath and then hand finished in our workshops by skilled craftsmen. The interior comes beautifully enamelled and the exterior is available in two different finishes; painted in a choice of colours or polished to a gleaming silver shine.

The Saracen also has the option of adding cast-iron feet, which can be painted if desired.

Cast-iron baths generally have a lead time of between 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the finish required. However, we will always endeavour to deliver your bath sooner or as requested.

Please note that if you wish the feet to be painted, please contact us at the time of ordering, otherwise they will come polished as standard.

Painted - Colour of Choice

Painting the exterior of your bath in a colour of your choice can help compliment an overall design scheme. We generally recommend paint from the Farrow & Ball range, but can match to any proprietary colour required.

Polished Cast Iron

Our most requested finish; it takes up to a week of hard work to polish and buff the exterior of a cast-iron bath to give it an amazing silver mirror-like finish. The end result is truly spectacular and definitely the focal point in any bathroom. All polished baths are sealed with a clear lacquer.
