Generous in size, these traditional washstands are manufactured at our Kent Workshops in England by highly skilled craftsmen, where attention to detail is paramount. As these are manufactured in-house it presents the possibility to customise the size and finish to suit your own personal preference.

Manufactured from high-quality sustainable timbers, our vanity units come in several wood stains and painted finishes for a more traditional feel.
Arabascato – Carrera Abrabascato is the classic Italian marble, its white base contrasted with clean grey veining provides an elegant and timeless feel.
Portoro – another classic, this rich and sumptuous brown/black marble has veins and flecks of cream and gold, perfect for a more antique appearance.
Nero Granito – a rich black granite with white veins running throughout.

Generally washstands are 600mm deep. We can reduce this to 500mm - especially if wall mounted taps are used. This will not affect the functionality of the washstand but will increase transit space in your room.
The simplest option is to use a vanity unit. This allows all toiletries etc to be hidden. Alternatively a washstand with a shelf will allow you to store your towels in view.
Cararra marble was particularly popular on Edwardian washstands. Though sometimes more exotic marbles - like Belgian Rouge were used.
We will endeavour to locate a marble for you. Generally we will provide an image of a suitable slab for your approval in advance. The price will obviously depend on the caso of the specific marble.
Only use proprietary cleaners that recommended for the specific surface - a granite cleaner for granite and a marble cleaner for marble. Many acidic cleaners will damage these surfaces so be extremely careful!
