The Saracen
Description
Nothing makes a statement quite like The Saracen. This traditional bath is a deep and sumptuous design with a distinctive plinth and a slim, roll-top edge. Originally made in Lyon, France, the cast is taken from an original Saracen bath and then hand-finished in our Kent workshop by highly-skilled craftsmen. Every cast iron bath can be customised to your requirements and preferred colourway or finish.
The interior of The Saracen comes beautifully enamelled and the exterior is available in two different finishes – painted in your choice of colour – or polished to striking silver. Popular choices include charcoal, or our pre-selected Farrow & Ball shades of Calamine, Hague Blue, Oval Room Blue, All White or Pavillion Grey.
If you wish to add feet, you can opt to have these painted to match the exterior, otherwise they will be created with a hand-polished finish.
Our C&R wheatsheaf emblem and name are embossed at both ends of the bath as standard. For additional impact, there is also the option to create a customised plaque, or one of our Catchpole & Rye emblems on the side. Please contact us if you wish to add this to your order.
