On 16th March 2026, distinguished guests came together for the Worshipful Company of Plumbers’ Annual Banquet, held at the remarkable Mansion House, London. The Annual Banquet is considered the highlight of the Company’s livery year bringing together its members, guests and plumbing industry leaders with a chance to celebrate the fellowship, maintain the traditions of the City of London Livery Companies and highlight the importance of the plumbing profession. Catchpole & Rye were represented by Liveryman Tony O’Donnell, Founder and Managing Director, Jack O’Donnell, Operations Manager, Lily O’Donnell, Sales & Marketing Manager and Eliza Wilson, Senior Accounts Manager, for an evening full of warmth and steeped in tradition.
A Founder’s Pride
This magnificent annual event gave Liveryman Tony O’Donnell, Founder and Managing Director, the opportunity to celebrate plumbing craftsmanship amongst other industry professionals and highlight Catchpole & Rye’s commitment to preserving and elevating the plumbing and sanitaryware craft. Tony reflected on the event that ‘what struck me most was the sense of camaraderie – industry professionals, colleagues and craftspeople gathered to celebrate excellence in our field. And cemented why we have a long-standing commitment to champion British design and manufacturing in plumbing and sanitaryware.’
Celebrating The British Plumbing Community and Craft
For Jack O’Donnell, the Annual Banquet was a unique moment that brought together people connected not just by the plumbing industry, but by shared values of knowledge sharing, experience, and tradition. Impressed with how the themes of community, craft and charity were woven seamlessly through the evening, Jack remarked ‘the banquet remined me how important it is for us at Catchpole & Rye to uphold the highest standards across everything we do, from manufacturing to customer service, we are proud to be an active part of the British Plumbing Community.’
