Sauvages de la Mer Pacifique

Sauvages de la Mer Pacifique

Dramatic design takes huge courage. There is no hiding place. When it goes wrong the results are there for all to see. But when it is executed perfectly the rewards are incredible.

Choosing to marry vibrant De Gournay “Les Sauvages” wall covering with classic Catchpole & Rye fittings has produced the most spectacular outcome. The paper features a fictional setting of First Nations people on a Pacific Island. It was originally designed in France by Jean-Gabriel Charvet in 1805 and was one of the largest panoramic wallpapers produced at the time consisting of twenty panels at over ten metres high!

The Copper Bateau with Aged Exterior perfectly compliments the aquamarine and tan hues of the walls. Featured alongside The Empress Console and W/C, Le Thermo Grand Shower and The Original Arched Rail.
