FAQs
Generally washstands are 600mm deep. We can reduce this to 500mm – especially if wall mounted taps are used. This will not affect the functionality of the washstand but will increase transit space in your room.
The simplest option is to use a vanity unit. This allows all toiletries etc to be hidden. Alternatively a washstand with a shelf will allow you to store your towels in view.
Arabescato was particularly popular on Edwardian washstands. Though sometimes more exotic marbles – like Belgian Rouge were used.
We will endeavour to locate a marble for you. Generally we will provide an image of a suitable slab for your approval in advance. The price will obviously depend on the caso of the specific marble.
Only use proprietary cleaners that recommended for the specific surface – a granite cleaner for granite and a marble cleaner for marble. Many acidic cleaners will damage these surfaces so be extremely careful!
