This painted exterior is also available on our Nickel, Copper and Brass Bathtubs. Please specify your paint colour when ordering.
Choose from a 1500 freestanding bath, a 1700 freestanding bath, or a 2000 freestanding bath. We can also offer bespoke sizes, simply contact us to discuss your requirements. All are hand-finished at our UK workshop in Kent.
The Painted Bateau
Description
Whether you choose an antique copper traditional freestanding bath, a grey freestanding bath in our contemporary charcoal finish – or something else entirely – we can offer a design to suit your preferred style. Our comprehensive range of interior and exterior finishes are available at no extra cost. Every copper bath is made entirely of high-gauge copper and is hand-beaten, polished and sealed to provide a unique, hand-finished appearance . Alternatively, you can leave the bath unlacquered, allowing the copper to age and tarnish over time.

We manufacture every brass bath with our classic Catchpole & Rye name plaque on the plinth as standard. This is a unique design element coveted by many of our clients, but we are equally happy to manufacture your product without it. Simply contact us to clarify when placing your order.
For additional impact, there is also the option to have a customised plaque, or one of our Catchpole & Rye emblems on the side. See below for details. Please contact us if you wish to add this to your order.
Please note that the Catchpole & Rye bath waste and overflow pipe is not included and will need to be ordered separately.
